Tamara Viles is the manager of knowledge architecture in the Center for Innovative Collaboration and Knowledge Management at TechnipFMC, a winner of the 2015 and 2016 Global Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises (MAKE) Award. Tamara transferred to TechnipFMC to manage the corporate wiki and serve as a SharePoint expert. Prior to that, she completed a brief stint on Halliburton’s IT Organizational Change Management team and co-managed the KM program and award-winning intranet at Aspen Technology. She has 14 years of experience in knowledge management, an MBA in Marketing and a B.S. in Journalism. Tamara’s speaking engagements include sessions at the APQC KM Conference, ASQ World Conference on Quality and Improvement, Taxonomy Boot Camp, and the ASQ Services Quality Conference.
Booz Allen Hamilton
Wendy is a tenured consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton. She has 15+ years of experience building successful change and knowledge management practices within the public and private sectors in the U.S. and internationally. She is a functional expert in change management, facilitation and training, knowledge transfer, innovation, organizational design and analysis, and systems integration.
In her current role as KM Director for Booz Allen, she is responsible for leading the global KM practice by embedding KM and collaboration practices throughout the firm.
Her focus is different than most, as it is a “people first” approach where problems and solutions are framed in the context of who as opposed to what. She helps organizations understand and realize the importance of different KM initiatives.
She is certified in change and knowledge management and is a past presenter on the topics at Intranet.Reloaded, ExxonMobil, KMWorld, and Knowledge Management Institute.
